Berlin orchestra football tournament at the Olympiastadion Berlin

The most artistic football tournament in the Olympiastadion Berlin. The Konzerthaus Berlin will host the legendary football tournament of the berlin orchestra on the 26th of May 2014 in the Olympiastadion Berlin. Cello, trumpets and clarinets will be traded for jerseys and cleats. Just one week after the DFB Cup final, Berlin’s finest musicians from all of the different orchestra will be able to feel the special atmosphere at the Olympiastadion Berlin and convert notes into passes on the hallowed turf at the stadium.

90 artists will take part in the eight team tournament with one team emerging on top to hoist the coveted challenge cup. Participants from the Komische Oper, Deutsche Oper, Musikgymnasium Carl-Philipp-Emanuel-Bach, Berliner Philharmoniker, Staatskapelle, Rundfunk-Sinfonieorchester Berlin, Deutsches Symphonie-Orchester Berlin and Konzerthaushausorchester Berlin will be playing in the tournament.

Music is a passionate and multifaceted phenomenon that perfectly relates to the variety, multifaceted use and the records at the Olympiastadion Berlin. Sports and culture are not viewed as opposites, but rather go in harmony in this historic structure, ecstasizing spectators in the process.
