Early in the morning, the starting signal rang through the Olympiastadion Berlin for the AOK-Kitajade 2014. The blue World Record track at the Olympiastadion was in constant use from then on.
Six different stops designed to foster exercise, among them a Hertha BSC football stop, were available to the three- to six-year-old daycare kids from Berlin and Brandenburg. Exercise therapy for children is the concept, all while designing the stops to bring kids to exercise playfully and without pressure to perform. Of course, learning that some of the tasks are better done as a team and that fair play is important was also an idea behind the different movement stops.
The AOK-Kitajade 2014 was an enormous success and we would like to thank all partners and patrons for their great support: AOK Nordost – Die Gesundheitskasse, Hertha BSC, German Olympic Society (DOG) Landesverband Berlin e.V., Sunshine Catering Service GmbH and Radio Paradiso.
We look forward to the AOK-Kitajade 2015!
