Both teams were trying hard to score goals, but neither managed to. Hertha BSC and FC Augsburg played to a scoreless draw at the Olympiastadion Berlin, generating several attempts on goal, but unable to score. 

Hertha BSC has not scored in three matches and adding to the disappointment was the injury to Sebastian Langkamp, who had to be replaced after just 21 minutes, going off with suspicion of rupture of muscle fibers. There were yellow cards on either side, but the game was not unfair by any means.

“Offensively, we weren’t able to solve the problems that would have been needed to win the match”, Hertha coach Luhukay analyzed after the game. On the one point the team received for the draw, lifting them to 7th place in the standings he added: ” Sometimes you have to be content with the little things.”
